Officers from the Falmouth and Helston Neighbourhood Team, supported by Professional development Unit, and Roads Policing officers, have arrested a man and women on suspicion of being involved in the supply and cultivation of cannabis. Both individuals, aged 41, remain in police custody and due to be interviewed. This arrest highlights the excellent joint work between departments and demonstrates our continued commitment to tackling drug-related crime in our communities. PC Dannii Collins stated: "Drug supply and cultivation can have a significant impact on local neighbourhoods. It is often linked to organised crime, exploitation, violence, anti-social behaviour and wider criminality. Cannabis grows can also pose serious fire and safety risks due to unsafe electrical setups and damage properties. We understand the harm that drugs can cause to individuals, families and communities, which is why we remain committed to identifying offenders, disrupting criminal activity and protecting the public." If you have information about suspected drug activity in your area, please report it to police via our website or by calling 101. In an emergency, always call 999. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, | ||
